MUSINGS & REFLECTIONS
Living Liminal: Podcast Episode 1
Living Liminal Podcast with Nico Wolf & Elena Greenlee
Living Liminal is a space to befriend the mystery, to bridge multiple realities, and to dig into our intellectual curiosities and creative weirdness as inspired by the chaos and beauty of this one and only living earth. We offer conversations, meditations, and invitations to engage with the space between worlds. We are devoted to the liberation and recalibration of the linear mind and to asking hard questions of the structures weβve found ourselves in so that we might free and remember ourselves back into the wild flock of humanity.
Feeding Beauty
This feels like the answer to questions Iβve been asking lately, both on a personal and global levelβ¦
How can we bridge the divides?
How do we maintain hope in the face of destruction?
How can we heal?
Pollinating the Healing Story
The level of deception surrounding the Path of Pollen as taught at the Sacred Trust has been infuriating, confounding, and heartbreaking for myself and many who came to this work through Simonβs book The Shamanic Way of the Bee. I don't condone what Simon did with his book nor the appropriation of practices for one second and I believe that if he had taken responsibility and been forthright from the beginning, we could have been saved from years of "disease in the hive" (a dream I had) and the patterns of mistruth and human drama that ensued. I do however believe there is still a body of work that can be excavated from the confusion - one that is well worth passing along (with proper credit given when known, of course).
What World
I'm more interested in the questions you're asking, much more than the opinions you hold.
Summer Switch Up and Listening to the Deeper Calls
On this wild and turning path, Iβve recently found myself becoming more and more busy with the best things in life - belly laughs, beloveds, moon gazing, tending home and garden to name a few. Itβs been a process of trust to let in such goodness and release the worry of showing up for work in the way that I am wired to feel I should.
It feels so good to be back in community
Though leaving France was a big leap for us, we couldnβt be more grateful to be landing back here, in the magical lands of Oga Po'geh (White Shell Water place aka New Mexico).
These are times to regularly engage in responsible acts of rebellion
How regularly are you engaging in acts of rebellion?
Iβm not talking about rebellion that comes in the form of tattoos and hair dye, nor stealing your parents car and sneaking off with your boyfriend, Iβm talking grown up rebellion. The kind of rebellion that sticks it to the man in a way that stirs souls and sparks change, the kind of rebellion that creates distance and differentiates you from the status quo of a sick and dying culture while simultaneously bringing you closer to your people - the ones whom you share visions of a new Earth with.
The Alchemy of Midnight
What is in the tradition of New Yearβs resolutions?
I asked myself what the opposing energy of resolution was and came to dissolution. This brought me to think of the alchemical process of Solve et Coagula.
The Benevolent Dark
An essay on the kindness of the Dark and the beauty of Solstice (with recorded meditation).
Living in the Liminal
Weβre still learning, but hereβs what weβve discovered so far on our recent quest for a new place to call home and how to live our best Liminal livesβ¦
