Feeding Beauty

Last night I dreamt in technicolor of a woman going through a life threatening illness.

Dream showed me cinematic scenes drawn together as if I were the camera filming - A foot stepping on wet, glistening sand, the imprint being filled by frothy ocean, a close up of blood spilling from this woman’s lips, the moment she was flatlining in the hospital and the doctor’s eyes growing wide over her mask, movements quickening as she tried to revive her patient.

I woke with the words,

You have to focus on positive correlations to build a healing story.

This feels like the answer to questions I’ve been asking lately, both on a personal and global level…

How can we bridge the divides?
How do we maintain hope in the face of destruction?
How can we heal?

This Dream brought me back to the knowing that we heal together.

We heal by moving in tandem. We heal by focusing on connection and repair rather than destruction. We heal by creating beauty and looking at the sum of all the parts, the bigger picture, to feed that beauty.

Dream reminded me that there are many ways to see and tell a story.

I want to tell the healing story. I want to focus on engaging with the coming together, the synthesizing of what has felt othered or displaced. I want to move with humanity toward a shared vision. A vision that can only irrupt from the spaces between, where All meets and beckons us forward through the Mystery.

I am still at a loss with how to engage with this dance around bigger world politics, but I know this - I can dance with what’s moving in my immediate flock, my community. And, in intending beauty, and moving with the way Source is moving us all, I see the possibility of this seeding the broader patterns of humanity. That moving in positive correlation may root in the in-between places and breathe life back into what has been lost and feed the beauty that is unbreakable.
